This bursary programme has been designed in partnership with key Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty members to support Humanities students who, for financial reasons, are at risk of not progressing on their courses. These bursaries will help to ensure that bright and talented students are equipped with the means to succeed.
By providing this support, we can address a key strategic priority within the Faculty which is to better enable progression for students from Year 1 to Year 2, and from Year 2 to Year 3, on Humanities courses.
HSS has strong graduate outcomes - 90% of graduates are in work or further study fifteen months after graduation and we want to help as many students as possible continue on this path.
Humanities students progressing into Years 2 and 3 will be eligible for the award, based on their performance in Years 1 and 2 respectively. The programme will support 10 students moving into Year 2 and 10 moving into Year 3. Level: Undergraduate
