2. Environmental Sustainability Skills for the Workforce
An introductory CPD course which is perfect for those working in any job role across all sectors. Participants are offered an opportunity to gain an insight into the most appropriate ways to embed environmental sustainability into the way they carry out their responsibilities.
This course covers the main environmental risks and opportunities facing organisations; the importance of resource efficiency; the impacts of pollution, pollution prevention and control and legislation; the impact of transport; and how employees can support the delivery of good environmental outcomes.
3. Environmental Management System
A more detailed 2 part course which provides an overview of the entire Environmental Management System (EMS) process from Bronze to Platinum levels. This course has no formal entry requirements and is open to all interested in the implementation of Queen Mary's Environmental Management System. An EMS incorporates all the University's core activities so there are opportunities to contribute regardless of the department in which you're based.
