Time: 1:30 - 5:00pm Venue: Adelaide House, London Bridge, London EC4R 9HA
The School of International Arbitration at Queen Mary University of London and Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP are co-hosting an International Arbitration Conference on Advocacy & Tribunal in Action.
The conference will provide a unique opportunity to witness both advocacy and a tribunal in action in the context of an application to an ICSID Ad Hoc Committee, concluding with the chance for delegates to cast their votes and express their views on the issues discussed.
The issue under debate is: If a party fails to adduce reliable evidence on quantum, should the tribunal quantify damages itself or should it find that the claimant has failed to discharge the burden of proof?
Attendance is free of charge. Please register your participation via email to ccls-events@qmul.ac.uk.
