Profile

As Research Manager at the Blizard Institute, Carlos works closely with the Institute Manager and the Institute Director to support the ongoing development and implementation of Institute research strategies, enhance the research environment and facilitate the delivery of strategic research objectives.

Senior Manager for European and international scientific cooperation at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) in Paris from 2004 to 2019, he supported a scientific direction in implementing a research strategy and developing the cooperation for the French social sciences and humanities community in France and overseas. He moved to the UK in 2019 where he worked as Research Development Manager at Goldsmiths, University of London and as Research and Business Development Manager at the University of Roehampton.

Extremely interested in the Human and their interaction with the world and their environment. Carlos is also a sports fan, and likes innovative technologies, travelling and music.
