Profile

Having qualified in Brazil at the prestigious São Paulo State University (UNESP), Dr Hiratsuka Dalmedo has been working in the UK for the past 22 years.

The constant search for knowledge and professional advancement has led her to obtain the ‘Certificate of Facial Aesthetics Masterclass’ from the Royal College of Surgeons (England) followed by the Masters Degree in Aesthetic Medicine with Distinction from Queen Mary University of London, with the topic “Management of Bruxism and Masseteric Hypertrophy with Botulinum Toxin A”.

She currently holds the post of Clinical Senior Lecturer and Lead for training days and external engagement at the Master of Science Program in Aesthetic Medicine at QMUL.

In 2017 she was honoured with the ‘Teacher of the Year Award’ in recognition of outstanding contribution to the Aesthetic Medicine Program.

She is engaged in teaching at all levels of Aesthetic Medicine, and her expertise lies in nonsurgical treatments such as Botulinum Toxin A for facial rejuvenation and bruxism, Dermal fillers for facial enhancement and myomodulation & Regenerative Medicine including growth factors and exosomes.

Dr Hiratsuka Dalmedo has organised and participated as a tutor and speaker in many workshops in the UK and Europe , with a special interest in cadaveric courses with anatomy applied to injectables.

She has recently been nominated as the UK and international trainer for the S.A.F.E. (Stylage & Anatomy for Facial Experience) training in association with Dr Benjamin Ascher (France).

She practices in the city of London, dividing her busy clinical time between dentistry and aesthetics.

Teaching

Dr Hiratsuka Dalmedo currently holds the post of Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Aesthetic Medicine postgraduate programme at Queen Mary University of London and in 2017 she was honoured with the 'Teacher of the Year Award' in recognition of outstanding contribution to the Aesthetic Medicine programme.

She is a module lead for the 'Cutaneous Physiology, Healing Scarring and Ageing' module and also the Lead for Clinical Activities and External Engagement, organising the annual Aesthetic Medicine Symposium for our postgraduate students.

Dr Hiratsuka Dalmedo is engaged in teaching at all levels of Aesthetic Medicine, and her expertise lies in non-surgical treatments such as Botulinum Toxin A for facial rejuvenation and bruxism, Dermal Fillers for Perioral region and Regenerative Medicine using growth factors (PRP and PRF) for facial rejuvenation and hair loss.
