£100K funding available to support translational research through QM's Impact Fund

The Queen Mary Impact Fund (QMIF) provides highly flexible and internally administrated funding to support knowledge exchange, the acceleration of impact, and to bridge the gap between UKRI (EPSRC, STFC, ESRC, and MRC) funded research to facilitate impact for the benefit of society.

QMIF is now open for Expressions of Interest (EOI) to support impact projects that build on your excellent research through the following two streams:

  •     Small Stream: up to £20,000 per project
  •     Large Stream: with an indicative maximum of up to £100,000 per project

We are keen to support projects leading to a wide range of impacts: political, economic, social, technological, legal, environmental, health and cultural.

QMIF includes IAA funding from EPSRC, BBSRC and MRC and an allocation from Queen Mary’s Higher Education Innovation Fund (HEIF). 

Applications for the Spring window are now open. Deadline for submission of EOI’s is
5pm on Tuesday, 14 March 2023.
