Blizard Institute - Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry

(Action) - Applications and Software

There is currently a project under way to try and map which applications/software are being used across the university in order to address a number of areas such as support, licensing and training needs.

Published:

We are looking to better understand any applications/software which are being used within your Institute which are not centrally supported or managed by IT Services (i.e. anything which is not included in the service catalogue: https://www.its.qmul.ac.uk/services/service-catalogue-items/). An example of this could be Tinalp, which is being used by the Institute of Dentistry to support immersive learning and is used exclusively by and managed within the Institute.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could please put together a list of those that you're aware of currently being used within your Institute. I have provided a template:

which shows the information we are looking for (if you are unable to provide a response for every column then don’t worry). It would be fantastic if you could provide as much information as you can with me by 14 December 23.

Please of course feel free to share this message with anyone else who may be able to help with this.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
