It is our great pleasure to announce applications for HARP PhD and Pre-Doctoral Training Programme for Health Professionals for October 2024 are now open.

1. HARP is a 3-year clinical PhD Programme dedicated to redressing health inequality through representative research in an inclusive environment. We are looking for enthusiastic fellows who would be interested in projects addressing research topics related to underrepresented populations and diseases due to

  •     social inequalities (demographic and protected characteristics)
  •     marginalisation (socioeconomics, education, lifestyle choices, legal/housing status)
  •     health status (examples - mental health or rare diseases).

2. Applicants can be of any clinical health profession including medical graduates, dentists, nurses, physiotherapists, clinical psychologists, and many others.

3. The HARP Programme also includes

  •     an optional 1-year pre-doctoral training phase with full salary
  •     2-year postdoctoral support phase
