The School of Mathematical Sciences is delighted to announce a new interdisciplinary research seminar called Mathematical Modelling for Biology, Health, and Environment
Next seminar: Stochastic modeling of biological motion: Migrating cells and foraging bumblebeesDate & time: Mon 13 March, 3pm Location: Hybrid | MB-502 Mile End | Zoom
Spearheaded by a team of five researchers from the School of Mathematical Sciences, this seminar is a strategic move by SMS to open an interdisciplinary dialogue with researchers from other fields. They are particularly interested in connecting with colleagues at Queen Mary working across biological, health and environmental sciences.
A note from the organisers: “All are welcome to attend the seminars, which will be held in hybrid mode. Furthermore, we are currently inviting talks on current mathematical modelling work in the relevant areas, as well as on emerging modelling opportunities".
If you’re interested in giving a talk this semester, please contact Natasha Bltivic from the School of Mathematical Sciences. If you’d like to receive communications about future seminars, please click here to join the mailing list.
