Don’t miss your chance to take part in the Festival of Communities, returning to Stepney Green Park on Saturday 8 June
Due to planned building works on the Mile End Campus we cannot host the Festival on the Sunday this year, but the Saturday in the park promises to be a great day.
We are looking for projects to take part by running a hands-on activity, demonstration, exhibit, or in other ways – we’re open to fun and creative ideas! Queen Mary staff and students can apply for up to £400 to support projects which wouldn’t be able to take part otherwise, and the Centre for Public Engagement is able to support reimbursing PhD student time for delivering activities.
The CPE team are on hand to offer advice through 1:1 Advice sessions whether you are designing a Festival activity from scratch or tweaking one you have delivered previously.
