Following an incident last week in which the plug socket to a -20 freezer containing thousands of pounds worth of reagents was turned off, please could all staff and students take care with electrical outlets.
Please check that you know what is plugged in and who it belongs to before turning anything off. If there is any doubt contact the group concerned.
Note that any extension leads in the lab must also have surge protection
