Talk title: "How mesenchymal stromal cells memorize mechanical environment"
Bio: Fereshteh performed her master’s project at Heidelberg medical University in Germany about the role of protein translation in ischemia and reperfusion injury leading to fibrosis development. following her interests in fibrosis area, she joined Dr. Boris Hinz lab in for Ph.D. to study the role of mechanical cues in the development of myofibroblasts activation of mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) and the maintenance of MSCs regenerative potential in the wound healing process with a focus on epigenomic mechanisms.
