Cell Biology and Cutaneous Research (CBCR) Centre Lead

The Blizard are seeking to appoint a new Centre Lead for Cell Biology and Cutaneous Research to take over the academic leadership of the centre from January 2023.

Published:

The current centre lead, Professor Edel O’Toole, will be stepping down from the role, and on behalf of the whole Institute we would like to thank Edel for her hard work in the role over the past 7 years.

Attached is a description of duties associated with the role. We estimate that this important commitment will take up approximately 0.2FTE of the usual expected academic admin/teaching load. The ideal applicant would usually be of Senior Lecturer level or above, with management experience either in the University or the Trust.

If you are interested in this role, please send your CV along with a 1 page covering letter outlining what you believe to be the key challenges for this role, and how you would address them as centre lead to Rachael Parker rachael.parker@qmul.ac.uk

The deadline for receipt of expressions of interest is 5pm on Friday 25 November 2022.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me (mary.collins@qmul.ac.uk) if you have any queries regarding this role.

Professor Mary Collins
Director, Blizard Institute
