We are inviting all FMD staff and students to contribute to the Christmas Barts Arts exhibition which will be held on 14 December 4pm – 7pm in the Old Library, Garrod Building. All participants will be invited to display their work and we will celebrate the end of the year with mince pies, music and your art. This exhibition will also include the summer arts project, Metamorphosis.
Staff and students are invited to submit creative enquiry texts (poetry, art, video, song, sculpture etc) with reflections to the theme of ‘The Human Dimension of Healthcare’. The theme is open to all forms of interpretation. The project is a perfect way for you to showcase your artistic talents, extend reflection into the human dimension and celebrate achievements unrelated to curriculum delivery and study.
Submissions can be made via a Google Form and are open until 18 November 2022. A 200-300-word reflection on your piece of art is also required, this will be displayed with the artwork. You can submit up to three pieces for consideration. Please contact n.hayes@qmul.ac.uk if you have any queries.
