There is an issue with access on the main Blizard entrance doors only.
The issue affects new cards or renewed/updated cards, resulting in access not being granted, despite being added to the card itself.
G4s, the security company, have attended three times so far, but the engineer hasn’t been able to identify the fault.
Both Maintenance and IT confirmed that their system is working correctly, so the most likely issue is on the G4s controller side.
G4s are due back in tomorrow (Thurs 29 June) to look at the problem once again.
