Email signature banners for promoting the National Student Survey 2024

The 2024 National Student Survey (NSS) of final-year undergraduate students is open from Monday 29 January to Tuesday 30 April at Queen Mary.

It is a nationally recognised annual survey that gathers the opinions of eligible final-year students about what they liked about their time on their course, as well as things that they feel could have been improved. 

In order for the results to be made public, each institution and subject needs at least 10 students and 50 per cent of the eligible cohort to have responded. It’s important that the university gets a high level of responses as the higher the response rate, the more representative and meaningful the results we get back are.

Incentive: The institute with the highest percentage of responses between 29 January – 16 February will get £500, and can decide with their students what to do with it (e.g. charity donation, graduation packages).

The central internal comms team have provided banners to add to our email signatures. If you work in a student-facing role, or regularly communicate with final-year undergraduate students, please consider adding one of these to your email signature. Instructions for how to do so can be found in the attached document:
