We are currently conducting a Research England funded project entitled Mapping Practices of Participation.
Briefly, the project explores academic, professional services, community sector, and patient and public experiences of collaborative health inequalities research conducted across the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at QMUL.
The ultimate aim of the research is to understand the successes and challenges of this work, and how we can develop it further in the future. If you are an academic or professional services staff member, with experience of conducting and/or enabling patient and public involvement in research, we would like you to take part in a semi-structured interview about your work. For further information, including a participant information sheet for the study, please contact the project lead Research Associate Danilo Di Emidio: d.diemidio@qmul.ac.uk.
Megan Clinch m.clinch@qmul.ac.uk, Reader in Anthropology of Public Health, and Alison Thomson a.thomson@qmul.ac.uk, Lecturer in Patient Public Involvement and Public Engagement in Science – Wolfson Institute of Population Health.
