Rebecca Simpson, a former iBSC in Experimental Pathology and MBBS student at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry
Was awarded the best international paper at the 81st Annual Meeting of the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma and Clinical Congress of Acute Care Surgery that was held in Chicago, Illinois during September 21-24, 2022. Her research paper on “Myocardial alterations following traumatic haemorrhagic injury” highlights her outstanding work carried out during her iBSc research project at the Centre for Trauma Sciences under supervision of JL Tremoleda and K Brohi. We congratulate Rebecca on this great professional achievement.
