Career Development Fellowship to support independent researchers from underrepresented groups
I am pleased to tell you about the Society’s Career Development Fellowships (CDF) which were announced earlier this month. The new scheme aims to kickstart the independent research careers of researchers from groups underrepresented in UK STEM academia and will open for applications on 7 November. The CDF will run as a pilot with researchers from Black heritage backgrounds in the first year and provide four years of funding, up to £690,000, to undertake curiosity-led research at a UK university or not-for-profit research institution. Please help to spread the word and share this with your colleagues and networks.
