From 5pm this Friday, 4 November, BTU will be in LG121 to repair the pipework following the severe leak seen on Monday morning.
The leak has been clamped for now and should pose no further problems for daily use of the fridges/freezers and enclosed lab area for the time being. Surveillance from Estates will take place daily until the main repair can take place out of hours on Friday.
From the commencement of works on Friday the cold water supply in adjacent areas may also be affected during this time - Works are expected to be completed by 8am on Monday 7 November.
Users of this enclosed lab are advised not to work in this lab after 5pm on Friday 4 November and be aware that repair works may be ongoing over the weekend.
