It's all about TEAM - An inaugural Lecture with Professor Dylan Morrissey

Join Professor Dylan Morrissey from William Harvey Research Institute at his inaugural lecture next Friday 9 September at 5:10pm BST, hosted as part of the 22nd Annual Scientific Conference in Sports & Exercise Medicine.

In his talk Professor Morrissey will explore how working at the junction of clinical research and educational activity leads to fruitful outcomes, and share some of his experiences of working in elite sport.

Booking is not required and attendees are welcome to join the reception in the Octagon after the lecture. 

Speaker Bio

Professor Dylan Morrissey leads The Centre for Sports & Exercise Medicine which works in areas of sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports medicine, exercise physiology, podiatric sports medicine, biomechanics, football medicine, dance medicine and the role of physical activity in the prevention and management of chronic disease.

He completed his PhD in 2005 at King's College London and works as Professor of Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Queen Mary, and as a Consultant Physiotherapist at Barts and The London NHS Trust.

This inaugural lecture will be hosted as part of the 22nd Annual Scientific Conference in Sports & Exercise Medicine celebrating 40 Years of Sports and Exercise Medicine at Queen Mary.
