LIDo Funded Summer Undergraduate Placements - CALL FOR PROJECTS (Deadline 20/01/23)
The London Interdisciplinary Biosciences Consortium (LIDo) is proud to announce the continuation of our highly successful Research Experience Placement (REP) grant funding scheme and will be offering EIGHT fully funded summer studentships in July/August 2023.
Applications are sought from Postdoctoral Researchers who have no more than 3 years total post-PhD research experience and can offer a project in the BBSRC remit, suitable for an undergraduate student in their middle years of study. We encourage interdisciplinary projects that incorporate computer science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence because it is a good approach to address the “New ways of Working” criterion. If your project involves these topics, please indicate them in the form.
Successful projects will be advertised by LIDo within our target institutions as part of our Outreach activities, only applicants forwarded by LIDo to supervisors will be eligible for the placements.
Awards are for a total of £4500, from which the student must be paid at least London Living Wage.
