Please complete your mandatory training
Queen Mary has mandatory training which we require all staff to complete for professional development as well as legislative and regulatory compliance. Colleagues are asked to complete mandatory training during their first three months at Queen Mary, and subsequently refresh this training as per the requirements of each relevant mandatory training module.
We are reminding all staff to complete mandatory training for their role by the end of the calendar year 2023.

We request that managers ensure that staff are granted the time necessary to complete any outstanding mandatory training, and factor this into team workloads.
We intend to launch the new CPD Training Platform on 16 October. The new CPD Training Platform will record development activities for all staff and send reminders for training that has yet to be completed. Mandatory training currently completed in QMPlus (most of the mandatory training) will transfer into the new CPD Training Platform and managers can also view most of the completion on the Power BI dashboard.
Please be advised that any courses which have been started but not finished will not be saved to the CPD Training Platform. It is therefore essential that your teams complete any mandatory training courses they have already begun in QMPlus by 4 October 2023, or they will be required to start and complete them in the CPD Training Platform.

CPD Booking System closure – 4 October 2023
As you may be aware we will shortly be launching CPD Training, a new learning management system which will be used across Queen Mary to record and monitor CPD (Continued Professional Development) and development activities for staff and PGR students.
The current Queen Mary Online CPD system (most commonly referred to as the ‘CPD Booking System’) will close on 4 October. The new CPD training will then go live on 16 October and you will be able to book onto courses again from this date. Any bookings and training history you had will be moved over to the new system.
