Mini projects placements for staff - proposals invited

A new concept to support staff development has been developed, with the creation of mini projects placements.

Published:

These placements are designed to both help the business by bringing in short term extra resource to get critical pieces of work over the line, and offer great staff development opportunities that could, for instance, help a staff member who is ready to progress acquire wider experience and thus improve the base of examples on which they can draw in future job applications and interviews.

The placement ask is for a few hours per week for no more than 4 months duration.

Should you have an opportunity (and need help) to offer a mini project, please complete this form to advertise the project placements opportunity. These will populate a page on the OPD site which will go live Monday 3 July. An example proposal is shown below. Please note the form is quite short and should not take too much time to complete.

The OPD team are aiming to start promoting these projects through channels such as the e-Bulletin from 3 July, so we encourage you to submit your proposals as soon as possible, although additional project placements can be advertised at any time thereafter.
