We are less than a month away from the start of National Apprenticeship Week and wanted to take this opportunity to update you on our plans – while asking for your support.
A range of events and information sharing sessions are taking place where colleagues can learn more about apprenticeship opportunities at Queen Mary. Could I please ask that you share the below information with colleagues in your respective areas to help spread the word about our upcoming Apprenticeship Week programme? Join us in celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2024 at QMUL. Whether you are a current apprentice, interested in undertaking an apprenticeship or deciding whether an apprentice could enhance your team there will be an event for you. This year’s National Apprenticeship Week theme is ‘Skills for Life’: Reflecting on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with future-ready skills.
For information on events such as our Drop-in session or annual Staff Apprenticeship Awards Ceremony, please visit the national apprenticeship week webpages or email apprenticeships@qmul.ac.uk. Finally, case studies are really beneficial for prospective apprentices. Any colleagues who are interested in shedding light on their apprenticeship experience, I encourage you to submit a case study via this form: https://forms.office.com/e/euJEp9Xe1D.
