New Blizard dedicated site on Space Connect: Action on or after 1 June 2024

Effective from Saturday 1 June 2024, the Blizard Institute will have its own dedicated site on Space Connect, which is separate from the main Queen Mary University of London site. This has been set up to allow Blizard users to book desks up to four weeks in advance.

Please be aware that all previous bookings will not carry over to the new area and will need to be rebooked once the new site goes live on Saturday 1 June. Desks that were previously out of the booking system will remain unavailable in the new Space Connect Blizard Institute site.

Action: To book a desk in the Blizard Building please follow the instructions below:

Effective Saturday 1 June 2024

  1. Log out of Space Connect
  2. Log back into Space Connect
  3. Click on the first set of dots (under "update your preferences") to bring up the location preference list
  4. Click on Queen Mary Blizard:

     5. Choose the floor by clicking on the third sets of dots:
