About the Role

A deputy laboratory manager is required to join the Institute laboratory management team to support and deputise for the Principal Laboratory Manager in ensuring the safe operation, maintenance and efficient management of the entire research laboratory environment of the Blizard, Abernethy and Wingate Buildings.

About You

The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and management of all aspects of Clinical governance and Health & Safety in all of the Institute’s laboratory areas. They will formulate and implement laboratory policies and procedures, which best support the research activities of the Institute. They will also provide advice on strategic investment in, and development of, the research infrastructure of the Institute.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment, with an expected start date of December 2022. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £39,815 - £46,843 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
