The next Whiteboard session will take place on Tuesday 27 September from 1.30pm to 3.00pm, in the basement meeting rooms at Empire House.
Dr Miguel Branco, Reader in Genome Regulation at the Centre for Genomics and Child Health, Blizard Institute, will present his research grant project under development titled “Regulatory roles of transposable elements in endometrial gland function” for which funder and scheme are not determined yet.
A Question & Answer session will follow the presentation, giving attendees an opportunity to interact with the speaker around his proposal.
Although the topic might not fall directly within your area of expertise or study, we encourage you to attend this Whiteboard meeting as the principles of grant writing and experimental design are largely transferrable.
