The postholder will provide high level informatics support to investigate risk factors associated with the clinical progression of metabolic-dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease with liver, renal and cardiovascular outcomes; including type 2 diabetes and its control. They will develop and maintain the core data infrastructure of the project which will include quality control, data mining, derivation of phenotype codes and engineering to combine high quality research databases to enable the subsequent integrative analysis. They will conduct advanced statistical and epidemiological modelling with the use of artificial intelligence to conduct meta-analysis across the databases and uncover insights extracted from the data.
