Please join us on Friday 11 November, 12:00-12:45pm for the next seminar in the ‘Let’s Talk About…’ seminar series.

For the fifth seminar in the series, we will be revisiting the topic of LGBTQ+ in cancer research, with a particular focus on improving cancer care in the LGBTQ+ community. We will be hearing from Dr Alison May Berner (Academic Clinical Lecturer at Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London).

The seminar will take place via Zoom - register via Eventbrite.

Agenda

  • 12:00-12:05pm - Welcome from seminar Chair, Professor Susana Godinho (Professor in Cancer Cell Biology at Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London)
  • 12:05-12:25pm - Let's Talk About improving cancer care in the LGBTQ+ community, Dr Alison May Berner (Academic Clinical Lecturer at Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London)
  • 12:25-12:45pm - Discussion, with panel members including Dr Alison May Berner and Dr Jennifer Davies-Oliveira (Clinical Research Training Fellow at The University of Manchester). Additional panel member TBC.
