I am writing following my email below of 15 November 2022, related to the three days of industrial action called in November.
We would like to thank everyone for working to minimise the impact of this industrial action on our students. I am writing now to remind you that the deadline for making up education is 20 January 2023, or within a reasonable timescale agreed by the Head of School/Institute. We have updated our FAQs on our approach to pay deductions in the cases where education has not been made up within the agreed timeframe. The relevant FAQ is entitled: When will deductions be applied for failure to make up lost education related to the November 2022 strike days and what will the deductions cover?
The FAQs provide the University position on industrial action. If you have a question not answered by the FAQs, please contact your Strategic HR Business Partner.
