I'm pleased to report that we have secured the funding necessary from Estates and Facilities to repair and replace the blind fixing systems in the Blizard Building.
The fixings will be changed and will only support one blind, rather than three as is currently the case.
Works will commence on or near Monday 12 June and last for around six weeks. During this time, scaffolding will be in place in the office areas, but the areas will remain usable throughout. Individual areas will only be vacated as the blinds are being removed.
We will provide further updates including a schedule shortly.
