Brazil-UK research workshop and virtual networking
Date: Weds 31 January 2024, 2pm-5pmOnline: via Zoom Universities UK International is hosting an online Brazil research workshop from 2pm-5pm on Wednesday 31 January. This session will provide researchers and professional services staff from the UK and Brazil with an overview of routes into funding opportunities for international collaboration. Attendees will hear about the primary funding bodies in the UK and Brazil and how the recently-announced International Science Partnership Fund (ISPF) can enable stronger research relationships between the two countries.
Researchers will also have the opportunity to present their work and find new potential collaboration partners in a virtual networking session.
The information session will be approximately 1.5-2 hours, followed by a period of online, facilitated networking until 5pm. Researchers can sign up to present their research during the networking session when booking a ticket. A finalised agenda will be shared once we know how many participants are hoping to present.
Please note that this session is only open to researchers and university staff based in Brazil, and researchers and university staff based at UUKs member institutions.
