The next whiteboard session will take place on Tuesday 21 November from 1.00pm to 2.00pm, in the Spikey meeting room at the Blizard Institute.
Dr Emma Chambers, Lecturer in Immunology in the Centre for Immunobiology, Blizard Institute, will present her project titled “Understanding the contribution of monocytes to inflammageing” for the BBSRC New Investigator Research Grant (NIRG). A Questions & Answers session will follow the presentation, giving attendees an opportunity to interact with the speaker around the proposal. Although topics might not fall directly within your area of expertise or study, we encourage you to attend this whiteboard meeting as the principles of grant writing and experimental design are largely transferrable. We look forward to meeting many of you. Professor William Alazawi MA(Cantab) MB BChir PhD FRCPProfessor of HepatologyDirector of Research and Carlos De OliveiraInstitute Research Manager
