Profile

The Student Engagement Manager plays a key role in driving student engagement initiatives and collaborating with academic and support staff to develop and implement innovative programmes and support systems. This role is central to enhancing student experience at the School of Business and Management.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the extenuating circumstances process, managing academic advising sessions, and monitoring student retention and recruitment efforts. Additionally, the Student Engagement Manager directly supervises the School's Engagement Team, which comprises Student Support Officers, an Academic Writing Tutor, and a Quantitative Skills Tutor.

The Student Engagement Manager reports directly to the Teaching and Learning Manager, ensuring alignment with the School's broader educational objectives and outcomes.
