The Shanghai Online Careers Fair aims to connect Chinese students and recent graduates with employers and research institutes located in Shanghai, helping them to explore the opportunities available

In this session for international students and graduates, we will learn about UK work culture and etiquette in the workplace. We will discover the ways in which to showcase your skills in the right way to employers and how to use various tools for the UK application process.

Applying for jobs without a structured plan may lead to disappointment- we are here to discuss with you how to apply for jobs in the UK strategically to maximise your chances of gaining employment. Come along to discover how to word your searches, where to look, and how flexibly search for success!

In this session for international students and graduates we will learn how graduate recruitment in the UK operates. We will discuss current strategies and form a new action plan based on current trends and best practice to maximise chances of success.
When: Thursday 10th October 10-11:30
Where: iQ east 0.15
In this workshop we will use interactive activities and current labour market insights to identify the top skills employers want, whether we have them, before having a chance to practice these skills in live scenarios with your peers. This format is similar to the activities you may have to undertake in an assessment centre in the process of applying to graduate jobs.

International Student Advisers will talk about eligibility for the route, how and when to apply, costs and additional requirements for the route.
International experience, interview techniques, values and commercial awareness

In this session we will talk about how you can impress employers with your international experience through interview techniques, telling your story and values, and showcasing the crucial commercial awareness they are looking for.
