Volunteering is a great way to develop skills, gain experience, meet new people, and make a difference. Opportunities take place in the local area and across London, with a range of different charities and volunteering projects.
There are a number of different ways that you can get involved with volunteering either through one of our charity partners, student-led volunteering groups or one-off opportunities as part of Give Volunteering a Go. You can choose from mentoring young people, putting on language classes for refugees, volunteering in the head office of a charity or playing disability sport in local schools to name just a few.
The time commitment is flexible and varies per opportunity and charity. During term time QMSU Volunteering only offer opportunities which can be fitted around students’ studies.
