MyPlus Students Club
MyPlus Provides students with disabilities advice and support to navigate and succeed through their recruitment process. Website includes listings for internships and graduate schemes, free eBooks on various topics, virtual events throughout the year on careers guidance and disability rights. MyPlus also has an online jobs board.
EmployAbility
EmployAbility provides advice and advocacy with each stage of the recruitment stage and in the workplace. Website includes virtual training sessions for rights and adjustments, different workshops to maximise success in applications, internships, and graduate programmes.
Disability Rights UK
Disability Rights UK is a campaigning group who challenges policy makers and institutions to remove barriers for disabled individuals. Website includes advice on independent living, a leadership academy programme, volunteering opportunities, newsletters and blogs on any legal updates and individual success stories on living with a disability.

Official government website made specifically for disabled people. Website includes financial help and how to apply, carers allowance, disability equipment and transport help, updated legal information under the Equality Act 2010, individual information within the workplace for reasonable adjustments and access to work.
National Autistic Society
The National Autistic Society provides various support & information for all autistic adults and children. Website includes training and webinars on dealing with autism at work, volunteering opportunities, a helpline and directory, personal stories from students and others dealing with autism.
British Dyslexia Association
The British Dyslexia Association aims to influence government into promoting a more dyslexia friendly society. Website includes free webinars and live events discussing dealing with dyslexia, news section on any updates everyone should be aware of, student membership that includes e-magazines, access to paid events, etc.

AbilityNet supports anyone with a disability to use technology more effectively. Website includes an IT help support system for anyone with technology issues, free guidance to every accessible feature on any device, free resources on online tools available for internet users for quicker and easier navigation.
Blind in Business
Blind in Business was founded by three blind graduates that help blind or partially blind graduates to compete for good jobs. Website includes webinars on accessing work placements with employers, success stories from graduates, mentoring sessions available to book, news section for updates on opportunities, events, etc.

Civil Service Summer Internship
Gives students from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to see what a career in the Civil Service is like. Students must be in the final 2 years at university, internship lasts 6 – 9 weeks, with a salary of £300 – £350 per week. Work includes conducting research, project support, shadowing civil servants, etc.
Change 100 Internship
Paid summer work placement aimed to kickstart confidence, networks and skills needed for your future career. Eligibility includes right to work in the UK, in your penultimate or final year at university, be predicted or achieved a 2:1 at university, students with a current disability.
BBC Extend Scheme
Various talent schemes across journalism, production, technology, and business. There is an offer for a 3 to 10 days work experience, or graduate apprenticeships for two years. Each placement has its own requirements which students to check depending on their interests, but each scheme is disability friendly.
The Law Society
The Lawyers with Disabilities Division works with law firms to offer one to two weeks’ worth of work experience. To apply, you have to have a disability or a long-term health condition and are a member of the Lawyers with Disabilities Division which takes a simple registration.
City Disability
Mentoring opportunity for students to be matched with industry mentors with disabilities. Both mentors and mentees simply sign up on their website and the organisation matches students to the appropriate mentor.
Muscular Dystrophy UK Work Experience
Work experience opportunities in their London office that allows you to choose the length and hours for your placement. Departments for these placements include campaigns, policy, outreach, research, digital, and much more. Once your placement is complete, they may offer other placements with companies based in the South East.
