Mexico

The Mexico Chapter exists to create an alumni community for networking and socialising opportunities by bringing alumni from different year groups and specialisms together.

The Chapter is led by Arturo Trevino Villarreal (Laws LLM, 2008). He explains why he feels the Mexico Chapter is so important. He is supported by a group of committee members

Professor Rosa Lastra, (Sir John Lubbock Chair in Banking Law) serves as the CCLS Academic Lead for the CCLS Mexico Chapter.

The Chapter is run by alumni for alumni so please do get involved.

Events organised by the chapter committee are advertised on the Alumni Events page. Updates on recent events which have taken place can be accessed from the past event listings.

In my experience, a successful lawyer career demands not only high-quality work but also the effective development of a personal and professional network. The CCLS Mexico Chapter is an outstanding opportunity for Queen Mary’s Mexican alumni to achieve this since here you will find like-minded people to connect, collaborate with, learn from, and grow together. Additionally, it is worth considering that the Chapter is run by alumni for alumni, so your involvement is crucial; the bigger participation the more diverse and rich the group!
