There is no single reason. I felt a strong sense of community with other Nigerian students while at QMUL, particularly CCLS. So to revive those relationships, I thought it would be a good idea to reconnect. Also, there are many alumni who passed through CCLS before and after me. It'll be nice to build a network of new contacts, make new acquaintances and build friendships.

What do you think the importance of the Nigeria Chapter is?

Some important objectives would be to foster mentorship between older and younger alumni, members can also advise and share experiences with prospective students and members can share information that may advance their careers.

How do you hope the Chapter will benefit alumni who join?

I believe joining can expand members' professional networks, encourage the exchange of information and ideas that would help members professionally, encourage mentoring and also, possibly, result in collaborations between colleagues lawyers.
