Dr Gaetano Dimita (Senior Lecturer in International Intellectual Property Law) explains why he feels the Chapter is so important.
Why did you decide to get involved with the CCLS UK Chapter?
The LLM at CCLS profoundly shaped my career (to the extent that almost 20 years later I am still here). I believe the CCLS UK Chapter is the perfect opportunity for us alumni to engage, support the centre and keep in touch with friends and colleagues.
What do you think the importance of the UK Chapter is?
I believe the UK Chapter should play a pivotal role in promoting and supporting the CCLS Alumni community. We are in London and this allows us not only to cater for alumni but also to create opportunities to involve the current cohort of LLM students.
How do you hope the Chapter will benefit alumni who join?
Opportunities to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones and share knowledge and experiences.
