CCLS Brazil, Distance Learning (TMT), Indonesia, and Italy Alumni Chapters held a Webinar on The Present and Future of Smart Cars-Law and Policy.
The inaugural collaborative webinar on "The Present and Future of Smart Cars-Law and Policy" was presented on December 6, 2023, jointly by the CCLS Brazil, Distance Learning (TMT), Indonesia, and Italy Chapters.
The webinar was attended by CCLS alumni, current CCLS students, and a general legal professionals audience.
This international event was hosted by Mr Muhammad Iqbal Pratama (General Laws LLM, 2021) from Bank Indonesia. Ms Ayu Mawar Rini (Comparative and International Dispute Resolution Law LLM, 2020) from Mahendra & Co. Law Firm, acted as event moderator and addressed the closing remarks.
The first speaker – Mr Firdausi Firdaus (Computer and Communications Law LLM, 2013) from the University of Barcelona, Co-Chair of the CCLS Indonesia Chapter presented the first topic, “The Introduction to Smart Cars”. Then, Mr Mahawira Singh Dillon from Transisi Energi Berkeadilan ID presented the second topic “Smart Cars in the Context of Climate Mitigation”. This was followed by Ms Valentina Torelli (Computer and Communications Law LLM, 2020) from Grimaldi Studio Legale presenting on the topic of “Privacy and Data Protection in Smart Cars from EU and Italy Perspectives”. Mr Pedro Duarte Batista (Computer and Communications Law LLM, 2013) from VdA Vieira de Almeida presented his topic “Smart Cars: Driving to the Future”. Finally, Ms. Nicole René G. e Cunha (Banking and Finance LLM, 2013), from Basch & Rameh Advogados Associados concluded the webinar with her presentation on “eVTOL “Flying Car” Brazilian Legal Overview”
The informative webinar concluded with a Q&A Session and closing remarks.
