CCLS alumni enjoy a programme of reunion events hosted by our staff.
On the 16th of June, CCLS Director Professor Ioannis Kokkoris and Christine Zhou, Head of Business Development and Programme Management (International) had the pleasure of hosting a CCLS Alumni Dinner in Hong Kong. It was a great opportunity to meet with our alumni and have our alumni community in Hong Kong reconnect and socialise with one another.
Further to our Hong Kong alumni event, it has been a delightful experience for CCLS to host two more alumni reunions in Shanghai (22nd June) and Beijing (28th June) this month. Christine Zhou commented: “Director of CCLS, Professor Ioannis Kokkoris and I had the pleasure to meet many alumni in both cities, they work across different sectors and disciplines, some of them graduated more than 15 years ago and some just finished last year. We are very proud to see everyone has achieved so much after completing their studies at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies! It is particularly worth mentioning that Professor Kokkoris had been invited to give a talk at the Dentons (Suzhou) by one of our alumni, senior partner Ms Shaokai Chen (International Business Law, LLM 2013). We met more alumni that day who had made an effort to attend the talk in person. It is fantastic to stay connected and we hope to meet many more QMUL alumni in the future!”.
