The CCLS Greece Chapter Committee first event of the year celebrated the New Year with the Greek tradition of Pitta Cutting.
On Thursday 18th January, over 20 CCLS Greek Alumni attended the Greek New Year- Pitta Cutting Event in Athens with CCLS Director Professor Ioannis Kokkoris in attendance. It was a great opportunity for the Greek members of our CCLS community to catch up with their fellow alumnus and meet new alumni who have now joined the chapter and recently graduated. Those in attendance enjoyed a warm atmosphere over food and drinks.
Professor Ioannis Kokkoris commented:
“It was a great pleasure to co-host the 2024 Pitta Cutting Celebration with the Greek Alumni Chapter. It was really exciting to see our long-standing alumni and also meet its new members and discuss with all of them their fond memories of CCLS and of their LLM program. It was really great to see our alumni caching up, seeking advice from each other and arranging to meet again soon. I look forward to seeing them at one of the future events”.
