Why did you choose to study at CCLS?
While researching my options for studying for my masters, I found that CCLS had a range of unique specialisms which aligned thoroughly with my interests. It also had various interesting options for electives which helps an international student like me to become an 'O' shaped lawyer. I didn't have to compromise by taking any course which did not fit my criteria. This attracted me to choose to study at CCLS and pursue my masters without any hesitation.
What is your favourite memory of being a CCLS student?
Quite a few, but I would say when a lecturer once bought a super-delicious cake to keep our class motivated during one of the evening lectures. It indeed kept us all going even after 7pm in the winter.
What does being a member of the CCLS community mean to you?
It is really satisfying to see oneself associated with one's alma mater. More satisfying will be to be able to help and assist prospective candidates as well as the members of CCLS in whatever way I can in the coming years.
How did your CCLS experience contribute to your career?
It certainly provided me with the practical knowledge and often overlooked aspects of shaping careers, be it workplace communication ethics or the importance of networking without sounding cheeky. The list goes on.
Why do you think prospective students should study at CCLS?
I think CCLS has to offer a lot more than just its well-rounded course curriculum and high diversity index. It is really flexible. For instance, if someone just wants to be course-focussed and does not want to take on anything extra, the system is such that they don't feel they are missing out in some sort of race. This acceptable approach towards individuals, in my view, is what makes CCLS stand out for prospective students.
