This talk is based on Chris Reed’s new book, AI Fairness and Beyond, which was published by Hart in July. Ethical principles for AI are widely agreed, but without any clear idea how AI producers might be regulated to achieve them. Chris will explain why this problem exists, why the EU AI Act will not solve it, and his suggestions for regulation which might improve ethical compliance.
