Dr Gabriel Gari, Senior Lecturer in International Economic Law at Queen Mary University of London, has been invited to speak at the Brown Bag Lecture series at the World Trade Institute in Bern, Switzerland on 15 February 2016. He will present his paper 'Is GATS Approach to International Standards Outdated?', which reviews the the role that international standards on services play in defining GATS’ Members rights, and introduces and evaluates a new approach to the liberalisation of trade in services.
