Professor Rosa Lastra co-hosts 4th Annual CCLS Bank of England Conference

The Bank of England Legal Directorate and the Centre for Central Banking Studies of the Bank of England, in association with Professor Rosa Lastra of the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS), Queen Mary University of London, and Professor Peter Conti-Brown of Wharton University, are hosting a two-day conference on Central Banking in its institutional context [PDF 200KB] on 20 – 21 June 2016.

This conference – the 4th Annual CCLS Bank of England Conference – will convene an elite group of general counsel and other senior lawyers from central banks (Bank of England, Federal Reserve Bank of New York, European Central Bank), regulators and international organisations (IMF, BIS), senior academics from the US, Europe and UK, and leading practitioners, together with economists and policy experts.

The conference by invitation only (not open to the public) will be held under the Chatham House Rule and under the rules of Purdah in the light of the referendum on June 23rd.
