Professor Dr Rafael Leal-Arcas, Jean Monnet Chair in EU International Economic Law at Queen Mary University of London, has given written evidence to the House of Commons’ International Trade Committee on the links between climate change and international trade.

In November 2021, the UK will host the 26th annual summit of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26). The UK Government has identified opportunities to use international trade and investment to further environmental goals, specifically climate-change mitigation.

See Professor Leal-Arcas’s written evidence.

Professor Leal-Arcas’s written evidence to the House of Commons is in alignment with his most recent book, Climate Clubs for a Sustainable Future: The role of international trade and investment law.
