UK Financial Conduct Authority chief faces backlash over reforms

The anger sparked by Nikhil Rathi’s plan to transform the FCA has left the regulator facing the prospect of strike action for the first time. Costanza Russo, Deputy Dean for Research at Queen Mary University of London said: "The reputation of the FCA goes hand in hand with its credibility,” adding that it had been “playing catch-up” on a variety of crises since its inception in 2013.
